Position Overview:

Propio Language Services has grown 300% in less than 12 months, becoming a Top 3 Language Service Provider in the US. Highly motivated Senior Software Engineers are required to increase knowledge and deliver results on our proprietary Call Flow architecture. The Software Engineering team will be responsible for rolling out regular releases to several web and mobile applications. In addition, they will help design, support, and implement software features and functionality for new and existing applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
    • Collaborate with architects and product owners to define technical requirements and solutions.
    • Review code for quality, adherence to standards, and best practices.
  • Software Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications using TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, and .NET.
    • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
    • Contribute to the development of reusable components and libraries
  • Problem-Solving:​​​​​​​
    • Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
    • Develop innovative solutions to challenging problems.
  • Continuous Improvement:​​​​​​​
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
    • Contribute to the team's process improvement initiatives


Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience  developing web applications using TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, and .NET.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
