As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for the assigned product/s. You will be maintaining the team backlog, sprint planning, and user acceptance for one or more of the Propio Product. In conjunction with the Development team and in alignment with the Product roadmap, you will support the development, delivery, and maintenance of business-critical systems for our internal and external customers. This role requires strong analytical skills, collaboration with development teams, business teams, and key stakeholders to document requirements and deliver secure and scalable solutions.  

Working in an agile environment, this position collaboratively partners across administrative and functional areas of the company. This position works with Developers, Quality Engineers, Architects, Dev Ops, Implementation, Client Success and Analytics. 
 

The Product Owner role is primarily responsible for:   

  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog for effective release and sprint planning  

  • Informing and influencing the Product Management roadmap  

  • Bi-weekly sprint planning and grooming  

  • User story elaboration and establishment of story acceptance criteria and Acceptance testing  

  • Analyze and understand business data requirements to support the creation of accurate and extensible system  

  • Be the customer advocate for solution designs  

  • Guide user experience design planning and delivery with the assistance of the development team  

  • Evaluate trade-off decisions across the customer experience, development and operational support in partnership with stakeholder. 

  • Work closely with the development team to ensure releases meet -- and exceed -- customer expectations  

  • Continuously monitor, measure and report on key business and customer metrics. Identify areas for continuous testing and optimization.  

  • Work closely with Customer Success and Marketing to launch new capabilities  

  • Be the most knowledgeable person in the company on assigned product(s)  

  • Help implementation and sales teams solve problems and discover innovative answers to hard questions  

  • Work closely with other teams or team members to create materials including white papers, help documentation, blog posts, and customer presentations  

  • Collaborate across internal partners (Sales, Client Success, Implementation, Development, and Marketing) as well as external customers to understand challenges/requirements for innovative solutions that help adoption of Propio product in the market 

  • Co-ordinate and execute beta/pilot releases 

Role Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, a related field or an industry related discipline  

  • Typically, 4 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of applicable software product owner experience.  

  • Strong ability to influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across all departments within the organization.  

  • Ability to make key decisions under a cloud of uncertainty with limited information.  

  • Experienced working with Scrum development methodology serving in the product Owner role.  

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced environments.  

  • Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Prior experience within the Healthcare tech space is a plus. 

CERTIFICATES:  

• Pragmatic Marketing Certification is Preferred but not required
